Picked up a box of CCI Suppressor 45gr HP 22lr to try out on the trapline this year. Pushes a 45gr hollow point at 970 fps, but will probably be around 850 fps from a 6" pistol. Anyone use it for dispatch or on game ? Looking to get clean dispatch without exit hole or at least some small exit holes. Last few years I used the CCI 40gr solid Quite at 710 fps. They work pretty well for the most part, and thought the HP along with a slightly faster and heavier bullet would work better with less penetration.. -Thanks

Give the CCI Quik-Shok a try. Comes in three speeds. 1640, 1050 and 710.

Try the 1050 fps load. I think you'll stick with it.

That's similar to the Remington ceebee hp I use. No complaints or exits with the ceebees.

Not on coyote or raccoon. Never looked on possum.
