In the shuck and put in microwave for 2 1/2 minutes per ear. Then cut the stalk end, about 2 rows in, and just squeeze the ear out. Comes out without any silk. Super easy. Super juicy too.

been meaning to try it grilled...what's the procedure?
Thanks!
I wrap the corn...with the husk on..with a layer of tin foil. Then put on the Gas Grill...heat on high...for a total cook time of 20 minutes. Just rotate the corn 1/2 way through ..like at the 10 minute mark . Remove from grill and eat...be careful it’s hot....Butter and salt for me.

no need to remove the silk, first? Just wrap the whole thing in tin foil....and throw it on the Grill....or coals.

I normally grill , my mom boils , my wife just has me grill it. I haven't found it necessary to soak more than 20 minutes in water then grill. I have done some without soaking but they do catch fire and the outside husks burn it doesn't hurt the corn but makes more of a mess. no need to over cook corn and too many do especially when boiling. if your doing a bunch like for kids a pair of clean cotton gloves make shucking that steaming hot corn easier and the folded back husks make a great handle.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

My easy way is to boil up 2-3 gallons of water on the Turykey fryer, add un-shucked corn to a cooler, dump in boiling water, close lid and let sit for 20-30 minutes while I prepare the rest of the meal. Shuck before serving with plenty of real butter and salt to taste.

Do any of you all add milk and butter to the pot when boiling? Or do the cooler method. Where you put several dozen ears in a cooler then pour in boiling water and shut the lid? I heard it works good.
It is what it is.
