I’m a dirt hole guy but the last few years I’ve been making a lot of flat sets with great success

I use both dirt holes and flat set and snares. What the area calls for get it . Look at you with the right answer... A great man once taught me that. Don't look for a location to make a certain set. Find sign and put the type of set there that the location calls for.

Yep, dirt holes are great, until it rains. If we have another season like last year, I think I'll be making a lot more flats, with chopped grass for a covering.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I like to make at least one of each in the same general area.If the location is worth one set,,its worth two.
