If it's new and clean will it work like duck wax?

I've waxed a ton of ducks and I can tell you that trap wax seems like exactly the same wax. We used to buy big slabs of wax from a refinery for the duck club, but I bet it's worth a shot.

Great way to clean ducks too, especially if you've got a big pile and some guys to make an assembly line to cut off wings and pre-pick a few clumps of feathers to let the wax get in.

I say try it.

Pete

Never heard of this how is it done and does it affect the taste?

My neighbor showed me how to skin them out because he hammers the ducks and doesn't want to waste time plucking. He can skin out a duck in about 2 mintues.

Don't need it

Dip in boiling water till feather just pull out (may have to repeat this because duck feathers are so dense).

Buy a plucking wheel for drill

Too easy!
