Went out to my garage today and the freezer door didn’t get shut and all of our meat was thawed out. Had some deer beef and pork would any of it do any good for bait or should I just toss it all in a ditch?

Sure it's loss? How long was it open? Was the meat still cool to the touch? If it doesn't smell tainted, it might be able to be ground into burger for re-freezing or jerky. Gotta hurt, sorry for your loss.

Who’s ditch?
I hate finding stuff like that in the ditches around my house.
Is it to far gone to can or make jerky out of?

Some of the burger was still frozen or just a little soft on the outside so I think it was fine but a lot of it was completely thawed out, I think it’s ok to cook just needs to be cooked today. Cook out not a bad idea. We have our own ditched and I would take out of the package before dumping I don’t like seeing trash everywhere either

Or some get food poisoning. Only the OP knows what it looked, felt and smelled like. How would we know?

I had a similar situation a couple weeks ago, my garage fridge/ freezer combo froze up while I was out of town. I cut up two deer hams, a couple of backstraps, sliced up a couple beaver tails and then added Dobbins bait solution that I had sitting around. Threw a few marshmellos in for sweetness. Im stirring it up once a day, will post results during season, lol. Make the most of a bad deal.
