Sierra 52gr match hollow point bullet. IMR 4064 powder and CCI large rifle match primer. I wont give the weight of powder charge because you need to tinker with your rifle and see what it prefers. IMR 4064 burns really clean. The Sierra 52 mhp is pretty fur friendly on coyote at 75 yards plus. I try not to shoot fox and bobcats with the swift unless they are quite a ways out there. I have two swifts. One is the old tang safety Ruger with the 26" varmint weight barrel and the other is a Remington 700 classic. Both guns like the same load. I have 4x12 Leupolds on both guns. I don't use the Ruger much anymore as it is to heavy for an old man to pack. It has been and is still a great rifle. Have killed a train car load of coyotes, deer, antelope and other critters with it. The Remington shoots good after floating the barrel, bedded the action and adjusting the trigger. The Ruger still has the factory trigger but did float the barrel. When I am gone I predict the old Ruger will be the gun that both I've my boys will want the most. The boys will just have to work out who gets it! It has shown me to be a better shot than I am many times!

Not very many options for factory loads in 220 that places keep in stock compared to many other calibers. The crowd that I know that have a swift all work their own handloads and with the right work up they are deadly accurate usually. Is your red pad a 77 or a #1? If either one hasnt had tons of rounds through it, the right factory load should be pretty accurate. Might take a little leg work getting a few different boxes but hopefully you find one that your gun likes!

IMR 4064 with 55 grain blitz kings, go in, don't come out as long as you hit them in the chest.
