Hello. I am pretty handy/have carpentry skills. I bought 6-55 gallon barrels and am going to make a dock for a pond. Any experience/thoughts/tips, etc. from those with experience? Thank you for your time.

Not yet but I have the same project on deck so I’ll be following as well.

Saw this and thought it may be a good option. No idea what it costs.

How do you want the dock to be configured. Just 2 rows of three along the shore, or a gangway out to a square looking dock ? or something else altogether. That would be something to put out there before any tips can be given. Depending how you are going to place just 6 barrels, you will end up with something between "pretty tippy" and "heck I an't foot on that again"

Let's go Brandon

"Shall not comply" with morons who don't understand "shall not infringe."

It can be as small as possible to make it stable and I am up for anything on configuration.

You may have to partially fill the barrels with water to make the dock stable.
