My tomatoes are really rolling in now, so it was time for my first BLT of the year. Local bacon and some great bread with lettuce from the garden. And almost finished with the first chair I've ever made. It is an exact copy of a 60 year old chair that finally lost the battle of wood boring insects that invade every piece of wood furniture in France. All hand cut mortise and tenon built from a slab of chestnut that was cut at my neighbors place about 5 years ago. And my horse makes sure I get everything square. Pete

Well Pete, thats a good thing, in that when you want them to listen to you and cooperate pronto, they will. They can be caught up, injuries treated , or located and loaded into a trailer easily . All the ones in my care, owned by me, or not, would come running to greet me, as soon as they saw me in the field. My chooks included, especially them !
