I believe its referred to as the header panel. Need a body man to chime in.

Check out 2 part epoxy. There are some good products that can save you a lot of work and a lot of money.

Would be way easier to repair it then change it out just think of all the parts you will need to pull and put back on.

Professional Bodyman here.....could be a head light mounting panel....or a radiator support. Get a price from GM ...they fit a lot better. You can also price out an aftermarket panel...and roll the dice .
