Grandpa Trapper OP trapper G Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 4,939 Idaho Falls, ID	I didn’t want to step on anybody else’s thread so I started this one, I was confused by Joe Biden’s statements on Anderson Cooper. Biden said that “assault weapons should be banned, period” but didn’t define if it means all semi-automatic firearms or limited it to the size of the magazine. Cooper then said “to the gun owners out there who say that the the Biden administration will take our guns away” Biden responded “bingo”. He then said he will have a Federal buyback program but he will not come knocking on doors to confiscate them. Instead, he will take them off the street. Does this mean that when we go hunting, going to the shooting range, transporting them in the vehicles, etc. that law enforcement will take them from us and we will be arrested? Who is going to enforce this? Fish and Game departments? Plus how many firearm owners are really going to turn in their $1,000 firearms because big brother says we have to?

Our ability to buy semis, mags with more than 10 and I bet large quantities of ammo is about over. I doubt the Republicans will do a sweeping ban but they'll sure as heck let our rights vanish bit by bit. The Democrats obviously will do whatever bad they can. Stock up!
