I am a legal Concealed Carry Permit holder here in Nebraska. I do not like the inside the belt holder as I like to wear my pants with a belt drawn tight. I usually carry a Sneaky Pete holster on my belt. I have one doctored up with an HP medallion on the flap along with an Intell Inside and a Microsoft Windows stickers. My other Sneaky Pete has a Medic alert medallion on it with an EpiPen inside sticker on it. I have never had anyone every stare at or attempt to see what was inside. Had comments on the HP one as to what kind of "tablet" is that. But today at Wal-Mart I had a cell phone type holster with my Sig 9mm inside. I was in line checking out when a woman went to brush up against me. I put my hand down at my side quickly and blocked her just as she was ready to rub up against me. I looked at her sternly and she looked startled and said sorry. My first thought was she was after my wallet. But I keep that in my front left pocket. The woman backed up and whispered something to another woman who then stepped forward and started putting things from her cart on the check out counter. I was watching her out of the corner of my eye when she purposely reached towards my side. Just as her hand hit my shirt over my CC Sig I grabbed her hand and said rather boldly " Lady, I know what your doing. I'd quit snooping as you could get yourself in a lot of trouble"! She backed up and said sorry. I paid my bill and grabbed my sacks and turned to the women and said I am a legal card CC holder and in the future it be best just to mind your own business. They must of see my light weight Tee shirt had an imprint of my CC or something. I got home and made sure you could not see thru the fabric. You could not see thru it. I don't know if I handled this situation right.... but only time it ever happened to me.

only a few good reasons to "pull". you cant get out of killing somebody. your taking your clothes off. your going to practice drawing and shooting, your firearm needs cleaned
why would you "pull" your firearm in a store on a couple nosy women trying to cause a problem where there wasn't one?
NebrCatMan I think you did just right

NebrCatMan I think you did just right I never said anything about shooting...... Telling someone you are carrying and they should leave you alone is really close to a threat or brandishing. Brandishing can get you in trouble. The woman could have said she felt threatened. I really doubt she even knew he had a gun, she was likely just trying to steal something from him.

NebrCatMan I think you did just right I really doubt she even knew he had a gun, she was likely just trying to steal something from him. You had it disguised as either a tablet or eppi pen both major targets for theft because there easy to sell for quick cash I carry a tablet a lot and have had several attempts to steal it

My wife has a tablet. I still don't know really what it does. She got it along with her phone a few years ago. I asked the guy at the store what one did and he smarted off and said it does everything. So I told him to tell it to build me a motorcycle. He wouldn't talk to me much after that. I still don't know what it does other than the games my wife plays on it.
