Saw a thread a while back about quad tires but cannot find it. Looking to maybe purchase a new set before trapping season starts. I have a Honda Foreman 500 and I am on second set of tires. But I only buy what originally comes on the machine. Looking for something a little more aggressive and possibly a 6 ply. I know there isn't much difference in ply thickness but maybe it will help with wear??

I always check around my local ATV/UTV dealers for take offs. I've been lucky and gotten some killer deals on brand new tires.

Titan 589, my ,'02 Rubicon had 6500 miles on it, the Titans lost about 3/8" of the 2.5" tread, no flats, cactus, and rocks, not a soft tire for sure

i run a Honda Foreman 400 with 6 ply Sun tires or Black Diamond 6 ply tires. I run alot of back roads from farm to farm & aggressive tread these 2 have worn the best for me. Tried the Mud Lites just wore out too fast soft tread JMO.

I used to hit the pavement quite a bit so that is good to know about the softer tread.

Be careful running at higher speeds on pavement with a 4 wheeler if you have low pressure, agressive grip tires. One little wibble wabble and it will flip you off in a heartbeat.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Have you checked Dennis kirk? I've bought tires from them before and have been very pleased with the quality, price and fast shipping. Might be worth checking out their wed page.

No. I have not. Forgot about them until you mentioned it.
