Sold fur to Lefty when I first started trapping as a kid. Really neat place in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Can someone ID the #0 in Lot 284? I appears to be a Triumph, but double-jawed like the Diamond 21's...

I would call it a Newhouse #81.

I have nothing clever to put here.

It probably isn't a 0. I never saw a double jaw 0 trap before. There are a lot of screw-ups in the listings.....

I'm kind of surprised this auction hasn't had much interest. I sold what little fur I did catch years ago to Lefty.
Maybe one of you guys could give me some advice, which stretchers would be for the majority of the coon in SW WI?
It looks like this may be a way to pick up a few stretchers reasonable and try to learn finishing on them instead of selling green fur.
Thanks

Maybe the Wisconsin trappers are busy right now. I would love to look at the traps in person. Do they have any Sleepy Creek traps?

I didn't see any Sleepy Creek traps but some of the groups of traps are bunched up in the pictures and you can't see all the details.

In person inspection is available on the 14th. Auction ends on the 15th.

Usually lots of last minute activity on these type of auctions.

It's a good thing I live a long ways away there's a couple of things I'm interested in but I'm not sure how the shipping would work out if I ended up the high bidder.
