Good morning trappers! What fish have you experimented with in k9 baits? I'm planning on salting it or smoking it first.

I've searched the archives and my question still is what fish should I start with? Catfish and carp are the biggest sources of fish available to me. So maybe I could get a little guidance between the two?

One of our local lakes is absolutely overrun with them.

Thanks in advance!

Both work.

And together. See what they do on trail cameras

Carol black used to stress...coyotes love fish.
I have used carp chunks for both coyote and coon for years.
Coyotes do love fish.

I catch 75 percent of my coyotes using Jack Mackerel. .
