claycreech OP trapper C Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 1,725 Sumner, Mo.	I read over a half a page in Tom Parr’s newest book about Texas Specials. It was in the section on government traps. Very informative, but I couldn’t find an estimated value of them. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

Deerhunter51 trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 746 Tennessee	Good question - I tried to look up mine in Parr's book also as well as a couple of old Vance guides and came up short too. I keep a log of ebay auctions on some models just for later reference but things get so crazy there I don't know how accurate that log really is when it comes to actual trap value. The Texas Special's I have seen over the last year have gone from around $150 to as high as $350 (varied condition / completeness / govt stamps). I guess value really depends on how bad somebody else wants it though...
