Dove hunting followed closely by predator hunting

Like hunting lots of stuff and like accurate rifles but at heart I'm a wing shooter. And my name on here stands for my very favorite target----crows. It's the only thing in the states that you can hunt in high volume. And they are more than slightly crafty. Great fun to watch them decoy especially from great altitude off a large flyway. After that its probably waterfowl just to watch them drop into decoy spread but with the very restrictive bag limits they just don't do it for me. Third would be doves south of border; high volume acrobatic flyers. Then grouse with a good dog.

I see I'm in good company. Squirrels... with my flintlock. Just need some cooler weather.

My brother in law just bought 250 more acres and told me I was welcome to hunt it. So I might actually try for some deer this year if I can find the time.

One of the most memorable hunts I’ve been on was a duck hunt in western Kansas in the fog and a 40mph north wind. Shot my first canvasback then. Lots of years ago but a true highlight of hunting

Big whitetail bucks, when I was younger it was coon and rabbit hunting with dogs, but for the past 20 years I've been obsessed with chasing whitetail, so bad that I buy license in 4 different states each year
