My 16 year old best friend Ping past away in her sleep last night. She had been under the weather a little the last couple of days, kinda figured it was the beginning of the end could just tell with her body language. Got her buried this morning next to the tree where she found her first squirrel that I couldn't find many years ago. She thought every person and animal was something to chase and play with a couple of coon would argue that statement but it was fun to watch. All I can say it was a heck of a good run

Sad deal have lost a few and it's never easy!

Been there. Had to have my Husky put down and ir nearly killed me too.

Very sorry for your loss. Dog people know how hard it is to lose one.

Oh man sorry to hear this. Just last week I remember you posted about Ping and I really liked your post about her. Sorry to hear this, losing our four-legged friends is always a tough pill to swallow.

Very sorry to hear this sad news, but it sounds like your pal had real good life with you, and vice versa.

the hardest thing about having a good dog....................is saying goodbye. we never forget em!!!

Sorry to hear, but like you said it was a good run. My Beagle was killed by a car , he was 8 years old and still full of life. When we moved a few years back I exhumed his remains and reburied him at the new place. People thought that was an odd, macabre, and strange thing to do, but I wasn't leaving him behind. That dog meant more to me than most people .
