proratman OP trapper P Joined: Sep 2012 Posts: 1,970 New York	There has been a bear coming around my property. I am concerned that he will break into my fur shed because that is where I keep my commercial baits and lures. Is there a way to neutralize the odors such as for example Moth Balls?

Mothballs may actually attract bears,mothballs are a petroleum product(naphthalene)and bears just love gasoline etc. Last edited by Boco; 08/16/19 08:36 PM. When the bear takes a sniff at the bottom of the door he'll get a snoot full of Pine Sol, he'll loose interest really fast. Works great on brown bears, bet it will work on blacks too.
