I have a couple hundred USGI one's but I have a lot into them, like Adam said PSA has the P mags rather cheap and they are a good mag! 20 and 30 rounds are the most common Colt had 9 round ones. I like the 20's the best the 30's are bulky for resting shots.

PSA has been running some specials with 1K of 55 gr. FMJ and ten P-Mags for around 300 bucks.
That is a darn good deal.

the PSA D&H mags are actually made in WIsconsin Oconomowoc https://palmettostatearmory.com/d-h-5-56-30rd-aluminum-magazine-8416.html

the gen 3 magpuls also work well

don't think I have heard of a 15 round mag outside of Colorado and those are just 20s and 30s with blocked followers

all the deals are typically on the 30 round mags

I like the 20s because they don't hit my arm when I am slung up in prone but rarely find them on any great sale.

I have been considering stocking up on some 30 rd mags as well just in case, so I'll be following this thread. Like Law Dog I prefer a 20 rd mag for resting shots, and would like to get a 10 rd as well for hunting, but it wouldn't hurt to have a few 30 rd mags loaded and ready to go.

Yep, I have more ten round mags than 30 round and have a few 20's.
I really don't have a current need for a 30 rounder but it sure don't hurt to have a few just in case.

I've been thinking of buying a bunch just as an investment. You never know if or when the DemoRats will get them banned. If that does happen, I would think the ones out there would be grandfathered. In any event, Gun Magazine Wearhouse has good deals usually.

If they aren’t grandfathered in who will turn them in anyway? They will be just lost or stolen or probably won’t even exist.

Sold a lot of AR stuff during the previous administration could not keep the stuff in stock worked it a lot of ways, buy a kit sell the parts off for a better profit or buy in quantity on sale and once the sale was off sell what I had then.

Once the current administration came into play it dried up (and I'm Ok with that!) Fear driven for sure then it became supply and demand. Once it slowed down the sites wanted to raise the fees like Ebay so I quit until the next boom hits.

If you don't buy now at $10 a mag they will be a $1 a round or more down the road!

Interesting question, how many do you folks think ya need? I have enough magazines to hold 500 rounds or so. If it comes that far I'll likely be dead before I run out of magazines.

PSA and CDNN are good places to get AR magazines. CDNN has 30 rounders for 8.99, 20's for 9.99 with 3.99 shipping.

just for personal use a dozen 30 rounders plus what you use regular for 20s and 10s with extra 20s for replacement if you break one

but as an investment ask yourself. how much could I afford to loose on the stock market ?

30 round mags have the potential to make more than anything on the stock market.

D&H are good, and I believe that they are made in Wisconsin
Only P mags I have are 20s for the 300 BO, so there's no confusion with multiple rifles out
