Anybody ever do a propane conversion on a generator? How did it work out for you and where did you get the kit and what did it entail?

Know anybody that works at Schwan's all the trucks here run on propane.

US carburetion I think is the name of the company. Do a net search insure you can find them. They sell kits for most generators to convert to propan. Pretty easy process, dad and I have done it many times on different models. A regular grill propane tank is easy to keep around, never hafto worry about bad gas. The big backyard tanks are different pressure so you gotta know what you intend to run to regulate the pressure to the engine. Propane does produce slightly less wattage on a generator than gasoline so keep that in mind when your loading it. I don’t remember the run hours but I know a grill sized propane tank doesn’t last very long maybe 5-6 hrs on a 5000watt generator.
