so we are out fishing yesterday an I check turtle trap ,I have a big one 18 inches [shell] ,I go an put it in back of my pickup truck in a net an when back fishing ,an some one let it go while we were fishing ,the S.O.B. took food off my table

I hate that you lost the turtle, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the turtle go out of the net and crawled right out of the truck. I’ve had it happen several times. A 10” turtle has no problem climbing out of the truck bed

there was no way turtle could get out of net , the net was move to different part of truck bed ,so I no someone mess with it

Might not have let it go....maybe took it home ad ate it himself.
