Yes,. They are getting violent and wearing mask! Much like Antifa here? But for very different reasons!

Antifa are violent and conceal their identity because they are evil people causing senseless destruction. And don't wanna be fined or thrown in jail.

Hong Kong protesters are getting violent because they know this is it for them. It's either die on their feet or live on their knees! They conceal their Ident to keep from being identified by Chinese's spies implanted in crowd that will turn them over to authorities to be "dealt with".

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2585404115020201&id=1670198199874135

Kinda brings a tear to my eye that people in others countries know more about what we have hear than we do!

Here is the deal:

They're not singing our song to lift us up or immortalize our victory in earning our freedom.

This is their " British relentlessly attacked Baltimore's Fort McHenry"! After the battle it was reported that the naval officers who were firing on us didn't understand how our flag was still standing. Because several direct hits were reported throughout the bombardment!! Our flag continued to stand throughout the Bombardment because every time it was hit an American would run out to it and put it back up!!! Resulting in the loss of several selfless American lives!!!!!!!! They died holding up the flag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those men knew they had no way to defend themselves nor fight back. Holding up the flag was thought at that time to be a last act of defiance. They didn't realize the impact it would have on moral.

These men singing our song are telling the world by doing so. That they are helpless, defenseless, and are willing to die on this hill!

They know our history better than we do!

Wish them all the luck, they are going to need it. Communism fears resistance.

And they will die on this hill to no avail. They are fighting an unwinable fight against the commies.

No one is going to come forward to help them.. They are disarmed and powerless at this point.

Britain should be shunned from the coalition of western civilization for ever turning HK over to the commies

Not to disagree with you! Because the odds are not in their favor.

But we shouldn't have won either!

Yep..So what your saying is that the Hong Cong protestors are true PATRIOTS to their cause just as the PATRIOT men of Fort McHenry were back in the day..The men of today are far removed from the Patriots of yesteryear..Time will tell soon when 2A is taken away..Will see how fast men of today roll over..

Those boys there seem to fit the bill! They will die for their pursuit of life liberty and pursuit of happiness

Here in the states? Dunno! I can only hope we have some of that blood left in us.

It sure didn't HURT that we had the help of the French tying up the British fleet in Europe.

Don't misunderstand me. Whether we had help or not we needed to start shooting Brits regardless !!

In case anyone was curious, people from Hong Kong are referred to as Hong Kongers.

Ironically, our war was precipitated by taxes levied to pay for a war against the french.

Just my guess but if they were armed china would have dealt with it by now, but where they are unarmed china is probably using some restraint so they don’t look too aggressive on the world stage.

Britain is terrible for giving back Hong Kong. The odds are China will win but we all need to keep Hong Kong in our prayers, and I hope we sneak some weapons in for them

Tiananmen Square protests, commonly known in mainland China as the June Fourth Incident (Chinese: 六四事件, liùsì shìjiàn, literally six-four incident), were student-led demonstrations held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing during 1989. The popular national movement inspired by the Beijing protests is sometimes called the '89 Democracy Movement (Chinese: 八九民运, bājiǔ mínyùn). The protests started on April 15 and were forcibly suppressed on June 4 when the government declared martial law and sent the military to occupy central parts of Beijing. In what became known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre (Chinese: 天安门大屠杀), troops with assault rifles and tanks fired at the demonstrators and those trying to block the military's advance into Tiananmen Square. Estimates of the death toll vary from several hundreds to several thousands, with thousands more wounded.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

Casualties
Death(s)
No precise figures exist, estimates vary from hundreds to several thousands (see death toll section)
Set off by the death of pro-reform Communist general secretary Hu Yaobang in April 1989, amid the backdrop of rapid economic development and social changes in post-Mao China, the protests reflected anxieties about the country's future in the popular consciousness and among the political elite. The reforms of the 1980s had led to a nascent market economy which benefited some people but seriously disaffected others, and the one-party political system also faced a challenge of legitimacy. Common grievances at the time included inflation, corruption, limited preparedness of graduates for the new economy,[8] and restrictions on political participation. The students called for greater accountability, constitutional due process, democracy, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech, although they were highly disorganized and their goals varied.[9][10] At the height of the protests, about 1 million people assembled in the Square.[11]

china got a lot of fallout worldwide over that mass shooting. I doubt they want to repeat it but I also suspect they are not entirely against the idea either

Neither scosialisim, communism, Marxism, nor islamism care about people, how many they have, nor their basic rights as humans. You will either step in line and do and believe as told or you will be killed and/or subjected!

And don't think for one second our new communist Democrat party won't do the same things to us! We will be fighting for our lives here if they ever gain power again!
