City Cop busy so he calls me I drive to town and a lady has a bull snake smaller then a #2 pencil on a paper plate all hacked up! Just grin and bear it.

I reached for a bottle of Coke which I had placed on a steel framed Workmate work table 6 minutes prior, and low and behold there was a pencil thin garter snake with its tail wrapped around the bottom of the bottle. I squeaked a bit (not a scream) when my hand got close to reaching the bottle. How or why it got up there to begin with astounds me.
I have a small ornamental pond in the backyard with a 6# largemouth bass in it. You can do the math as to what happened to the serpent.

Why do people hate snakes? I hate spiders.

Similar patterns on a bull/rattler but heck one that small should be a breeze to wrangle up really you would think.

LOL! I went hunting rattlers yesterday but was unsuccessful. I did run into a couple of bull snakes but I never kill them, ever.

I don't hate snakes or spiders, but I can't deal with barn rats.

So that is why we should HATE snakes because God said so !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was mowing a customer yard once & she feeds birds. Well the back yard was like the movie Ben. Running along the chain link fence,up and down the trees,through the branches like squirrels, along the foundation and up and down the deck. A long feathered plant rubbed my bare leg and I jumped and and screamed like a girl.

We were doing a siding job this spring, grabbed the metal brake out from the shed and through it on the trailer. Drove 20 miles to the job set it up on saw horses and and little 18” snake crawled out of it and hit the ground crawling. Home owner hacked it up. All of us manly men jumped back.

I crawled under a round baler to work on the pickup head and there was a rattle snake curled up next to the tire im not sure if sceamed like a little girl or not but i about lifted the baler off the ground getting out of there though

In Matthew 4 the old Serpent himself used scripture to try to kill faith. Satan used the scripture from Psalms 91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
But Jesus came back at him with the Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. I suppose a ref to Massah or Meribah when the Israelites were in want of water.

So you see even the old Serpent knows some scripture, only it seems he is lacking on the part that says the scripture cannot be broken.

Already dead when you got there. You did not need to release your mongoose I guess!
