If you don't have a bunch of refugees near you, I bet you don't have regular access to this scrumptious delicacy!!

That's awesome. Is it good? And do they have other cuts besides boneless chunks? And the price isn't bad for something exotic. $4.99/lb.

I wonder if it would make a good canine bait.

I use to eat camel in the Middle East, its pretty chewy. If you wandered around the desert with no water you might be pretty tough also. They only butcher the old ones as the young ones provided milk and the healthy ones were used to carry your property, Bedowens (spelling) travel alot. If you eat the ribs you will look like "Fred Flint Stone" eating dino ribs. I will pass on any camel in the future, Kangaroo is tasty thou. Bon Apetite.

Actually, I asked the meat manager if it was one hump or two. He couldn't tell me so I got nervous and put it back.

Nice picture Law Dog, just never hit one with a car doing 60+ :as when the legs are under cut they drop on the hood or the roof, stranding you in the desert, then you can butcher and eat it cooked over the dung as there is no wood. What fond memories.

IF it's in a high Somali area, it'd be from a 1 humped camel. Dromedary camels have one hump and live in mostly in Africa, the middle east, and australia, Bactrian camels have 2 humps and live in in the steppes of central asia.

The meat looks similar to meat from an alpaca I butchered.

American office workers should only eat camel on Wednesday. Does anyone know why?

I like the bait idea
