I just got several mb 650 and 750s. Looking for advice on setters I can use for both size traps. I know that there are commercial setters for both sizes but am hoping to get away with just one set of possible. Any ideas would be great!

You can use the 750 on the 650, but it's not a one hand set normally. Get in touch with Dave at one hand setters.

I bought a setter from MTP for 650's. It now lives in my trappers bag. I think I'm getting old. never used a setter for anything till last year.

I'd off load the MB650 traps and replace them with Jakes. Then one set of One Hand Setters would fit your land and beaver traps.

That is actually a lie. I own two sets of One Hand Setters and all three traps. smile

Same. Still haven't figured out which one scares me the most.

For one-handed setters, I don't know of any that work on both 650s and 750s. I use the MB-650 setters for...my 650s (cheap and effective) and Dave Sheldon's One Hand Setters for my 750s. Southern Snare sells a bunch - $36.95 for the 750 model.

Dave Sheldon JR. Makes the best one handed trap setters available. He is a great man to deal with.

The One hand Setters for the MB650's also work on the MB550's.I also run the MB750's so have both setters and they are the best money I have spent.
