Looks real and valuable to me. BTW, I don't know squat about coins.

looks roman to me. IF and thats a big IF, its real that should be in a museum and probably worth alot. I know squat about coins though.

Most ancient coins like that have very little cash value. There are huge amounts of ancient coins around still. Large caches of ancient coins are still found pretty often. That does not diminish their coolness.
Keith X2 unless their silver or gold and even the he silver ones unless some rare variation are little more the. Silver value I have a friend that has a collection of foreign coins that he has found while detecting including several ancient Roman and Greek coins, he explains it like this many immigrants bring along keepsakes or lucky pieces and some of them loose them which makes detecting more fun

I would guess that is a reproduction. They were never struck that nice, and it seems too big for the type. Although they are cool to have, they usually don’t carry much value. It is cool to have something that could be nearly 2000 years old.
