Caught a coon, skunk and shot 2 rattlesnakes told her I'd give it until Monday before I pull, I have the word out at everyplace I could think of, no sightings at the rest area yet I check in with them everyday. It's chipped so it might show up about anyplace if t hitched a ride.

Had a missing dog years back it was missing for months seen it at a exit scrounging food one day the people got it back so there is always hope.

I hope it comes back around.

Jerry, similar thing happened to my dad's dog. Went missing 2-3 weeks later he saw it in a field on his way to work. The dog was in good shape. The field was about 3 miles from our house and half a mile to his work

My wife took a cat to a form about 20 miles from our house. In about 2 months guess who showed up. Yup it was her cat. If I hadn't seen it myself I would never have believed it.

I trapped a large orange, feral tom cat in Piqua, Ohio and gave it to a friend of mine, Ralph, in Huber Heights, Ohio 28 miles from where I caught it. Ralph kept in a barn for a few weeks to settle it and let it out. It immediately took off. I caught it again in Piqua, Ohio 9 days later and brought it back to Ralph. I never thought a cat could return to it's home range like that.

Jerry, I hope you're able to return the woman's cat to her. There's a very good possibility it is already far from where she lost it.

The plan is to pull traps tomorrow then set up some bait stations with cameras in the area to see if it's still around and maybe afraid to go into a cage trap! Between the skunk, Mamas with baby rattlers and this 3 footer I got today I'm making gas money and getting in shape hiking the river break hills. The bait stations will allow me to cover more ground and not have to check everyday.
