Did you see the last out? I thought that kid would never get out. Yeah That was a "quality" at bat. Wasn't it like 12 pitches??

I watched most of the games during the entire series. It is rare for a team to lose the first game in a double elimination tournament and come back through the loser bracket and win it. Glad to see the USA win, I think that makes 3 out of the last 4 for the USA.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

What I noticed the most was without the 13 year old kids there were a lot less home runs. It is not the absence of 13 year olds but IMO the new USA bat standard. The USA bats don't have the "pop" the older USSSA or BBCOR bats did.

The way those kids played and stayed calm under the pressure they had to be feeling and the spotlight of being on TV was pretty amazing. Most of the coaches were pretty cool customers too.

More balls in play and to lessen the ball speed leaving the bat. The bat change went into affect at the same time as the age cutoff change if I recall.
