Whats everyones preference for pan covers? Iv used screen covers in the past on dogless traps but didn't care for them. I started using polly under my pans. Iv since added to my line and also own several dozen dog on traps and am wondering whats everyones experience on the heavy duty plastic landscape barrier.

Peat moss never cared for pan covers. I tried the black landscaping stuff as a pan cover didn't care for it much so went back to peat moss.

I can see why people like them with big traps, for up to #2's, I have had nothing but grief with them tho. Polyfill under the pan works good, if anything.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I use coffee filters. I used to use wax paper but like the coffee filters a little better.

If you do pipe sets your're going to want a metal screen cover. I use them on both dog on and dogless traps. No problems. You could even use them on bait stick sets if it's in mowed hay/grass.

I use coffee filters on # 2 traps, and wire screen on # 3s.

Let me sugar coat this
