100# here is under 40 bucks right now.

I trade my waste oil to my supplier for free propane because he has a waste oil burner in his shop. Some years i'm ahead, some years he's ahead but that's our deal.

$1.00 per gallon. We have our 500 gallon tank filled each August and typically use 300 gallons a year for our furnace, stove and water heater.

Propane weighs 4.4lbs. Per gallon
100lb tank has 22.72 gallons in it.
265.00 ÷22.72= 11.66 per gallon.
FIND A NEW SUPPLIER!!!!!!

Summer fill $1.04 less $0.05 if paid within 5 day so .99 cents per gallon for me. This from Pro Coop in NW Iowa.

My supplier stated the price will soon be going up as furnaces are used for the first time and as farmers harvest crops that need to be dried!

I am summer filling for .99/gallon and then locked in at 1.59/gallon. Everywhere else I called was 1.89.

Just called MFA and made sure I was on the summer fill rate, which is $1.09 We own a 1,000 gal tank, and only have to fill once a year.

Why do 36 other state have a lower propane price than PA when the state is the second leading propane provider? It's not taxed here.
