Those are 3 shot groups even though most look like 2. Pay no mind to the one hole that is taped up and labeled pulled, I saw the crosshairs drift as the trigger broke, new rifle new trigger im allowed one bad shot right? lol Rifle was zeroed with the ballistic tips and the shift in the groups is due to different bullet poi. All were loaded with the same recipe.

Anyone know anything about this rifle? I was going to buy one from a guy but don’t know anything about them. They’re for sale all over for $265 to $325. This a garbage rifle? I'd buy it, shoot it a little and try it out, and if you don't like it, trade it out. It's just a gun, and therefor it's trading stock. I do this fairly often. One of your boys might like it and get handy with it if he uses it much.

Seeing that you measure a group center to center and not outside edge to outside edge, yes. Correct, since if you did 3 shots on top of each other it would only be .308 instead of .000. Bullet dia is basically not figured into the grouping more or less.

Entry level rifles. Just like the Ruger American, Savage Axis. They all are almost identical. Decent for what you pay. Get lucky and 1 out of 10 shoot pretty good. Rest of them are disposable junk. Just my opinion. I have to respectfully disagree. While yes, the plastic stocks are a turn off, the guns work as they should (at least in my experience). I have a Ruger American "Ranch" rifle in 450 Bushmaster that is a great shooter. Aim, pull trigger, kill what you were aiming at. I LOVE beautiful wood stocked guns, but don't hate on the plastic ones either. I like not being afraid of using my guns and giving them some "character".

Me personally, I prefer wood stocks over any plastic.
But, after the first big dent/scratch, I can relax and enjoy my new wooden stock rifles without babying them any longer.
Plastic will hold up better... weather wise.
After serving in the Marines, my first old M-14 was originally wood. Was eventually exchanged with a plastic stock. Held up great in wet weather. Another duty station, I was eventually issued another M-14 with a wood stock, I just love the look of wood.
Basically, if you want a rough and tumble rifle that you can spray camo or play with... go plastic.

KY Gun Co had them for $174 after rebate, and $230 or so with a decent scope. Picked up one in 6.5 CM, tossex a $39 TC ML scope on it. First shots at 50 yds. Low, up. Less low, up and over. Adjusted, out to 100 yds. Called the flier.
