Fox Sports Southwest will be broadcasting the Mason (class 2A) vs. Wall (class 3A) game live tonight from the Puncher Dome in Mason, Texas.
I hope this does not put a jinx on the Mason team as they have not lost a home game since 2010. 40 straight home wins.
Tune in tonight, 8/29 if you want to see a good game. Kick off is set for 7:08 PM local time.
Win, lose, or tie, Mason will still be proud of and support their team.
Mason has a population of about 1,900 people, the stadium will seat about 2,625 people and they are expecting as many as 4,000 to try to attend the game.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

Nah, I'm just ribbing you, Texas has an outstanding HS football tradition.
Great to see the community get involved the way they do in the Lone Star state.

...that Wall team is small and fast Cedar... HaHa ! Yeah that Jr. running back of Wall is 6'1", 190# and one of the receivers is 6'5", 240#. They are spanking our butt right now. Looks like the win streak is going to end tonight ? I guess it is okay for a 2A to lose to a 3A ?

My hometown played Wall several years ago. I remember watching them on TV and them being tough and playing Iron Man the whole time. I think the QB also played safety. They were tough team with a lot of heart!
Coldspring knocked us out of the playoffs when I was in highschool back in '96/97. They were good and tough too.
