That looks good.
I don't have pics but have 6 brassica plots and they are doing great.!

Planted oats/ rye last sat/ sun. Got a good rain just as I got finished.

Deer are already chowing down on the squash/ pumpkins. Hope there's some left when it's " go time" smile

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

I dont post pics, but you wouldn't want to see mine anyway. They actually arent too bad though. I need to mow the high weeds out of my clover next weekend. Brassica side would be great if it wasnt being stunted and yellowing from too much rain.

Ha ha 160 I'm guessing those don't belong in there.
And they are food plots not BAIT plots. Baiting is illegal
In Wisconsin. eek

No, they definitely don't belong there and are not mine! The quote to fix the road alone was $3,000. 17 head spend about 3 days in there and really tore things up. The owner of the cattle told me to be a good neighbor, ignore it and then threatened me. Not happy!

My clover has been taken over by smart weed. Not at all happy but don't know what to do about it this late in the year. Afraid clover won't bounce back in time for season if I spray w gly...thoughts?

Here's one of our brassica plots, the weaker of the two. We just established this plot 2 years ago, so it's still a work in progress.

Plus a section of road we planted with a clover/alfalfa mix this spring. We planted a few sections of road, but the others were overrun with grass, so we're spraying some clethodim tomorrow in hopes of knocking the grass down some.

It is a seed plot mix from "whitetail institute" called " beets and greens".

"kale, turnip, radish, and beets"

I think the major attraction is the apples I am throwing out.

Page, I had a plot similar to yours, ladino clover that smartweed tried to take over. I sprayed with a quart of 24D-B ( Butryac 200 ) and it cleared it up. I spray clover with Clethodim twice per year, the Butryac really helps on the broadleaf weeds

we are trying some late summer planting this year. One has just started to come up and the other was just seeded. Pictures later when they are all green.

Soybeans in my plots seam to work best the longest because they eat them as they grow and eat the bean pods in the winter when it's cold. [Linked Image]
