Hi I bought some used northwoods 2 and 3's 4 coil. The loose jaw is up not flat. I have tried bending the lever with no luck. Would it help if I would replace with new bridger's levers if they will fit. I dont know what to do to get to lay flat.

Hi try posting a picture from my Samsung 8. But wont let me.
It has beefer springs 4 coil kit. Looks like springs may be to strong. They look bigger than just the regular helper springs. Could that be the trouble? I took a bridger's helper springs off a #3 . Used on northwood. The jaw leveled right. The beefer springs r Stronger than the helper springs on a #3 bridger 4 coil.

Yes It may be adding to the problem if that solved it for ya.
I got a hunch after hearing all the details the helps would not allow to put enough twist on the levers and it would just come back.
Try to take the helper springs off levers without taking them off the trap,,, twist levers then reengage springs and see if that makes wanted adjustment.

I went to a lighter 4 coil kit again. Still sets up a little. I got some #4 music springs. Going to take 4 coil kits off. Put new #4 music springs on and be done with them. Go with a northwood #3 traps with #4 much springs 2 coil traps. Should work good on bobcats..

Some bed the trap with loose jaw up a little. Helps fire faster. Less load on the springs at the get go. Less travel distance.
