Nimzy, I did not collect bio info for these presenters, What I have below is my own write ups on the presenters and some thoughts on their demo. I know it is very general but that is what it will be. Also this will not be part of the program at the rondy as that deadline is long past.
Bryce
Larry Boettcher lives in the Rice lake area. He is a WTA Hall of Fame member and has trapped multiple species for decades. In his younger years he also was a fur buyer. We are asking Larry to relate to attendees his experiences with many aspects of trapping beaver. Jack Hill currently lives in the Abrams area and has been a multiple species trapper for decades. Jack has been asked to talk about the process he uses to make bait and lure and also I have asked if he will share which baits or lures to use on different species at different times of the year. Wayne Henderson owns a trapping supply business in West Central Wisconsin and has trapped many species for decades in Wisconsin. Wayne will discuss the coyote habitat that he has in the rolling hills and farmland in dfriftless area of WI. Wayne has also given demos on trap preparation and care. Mike Widner is a retired middle school biology instructor and has moved from Baraboo to Boscobel where he is able to expand on the water lines he had for decades. He now can run very long water lines along the Lower Wisconsin River Wildlife Area which goes for many miles. He will talk about establishing and maintaining bottom edge water lines during the winter up to the end of the water season for rats and Mink. Arnie Groehler lives near Oconomowoc WI and has given many rat demos. Arnie traps coons in the highly populated counties of SE WI. We are asking him the methods he uses to accomplish his goals in these highly populated areas. Lee Reuswaat is from SD and has over 400 coyotes in one year to his credit, plus the trapping for other species as well. Lee will talk about his methods to take predators, such as coyotes and cats. Lee is familiar also with WI terrain and will be able to answer questions regarding the habitat we have here. Scot Stewart is a retired DNR fish biologist who has run several mink lines and we are asking Scot to share his knowledge with our attendees. Scot lives in Dane County WI. Mike Kortenhof is from Rhinlander WI. Mike does a lot of ADC and fur trapping for beaver, but Mike also traps a lot of coyotes in the Oneida WI area. We are asking Mike to share his experiences with trapping canines in some of the heavily forested regions of our state. Mike is district TE coordinator and along time TE instructor. Mike Wilhite lives in Waupaca County and is currently the editor of the Trappers Post. Mike is also our new WTA/WCTEP wolf coordinator. We are asking Mike to discuss trapping the currently 3 permit species here in WI, Otter, fisher and bobcat. As you know this will be the last year otter will be a permit species. Mike has written many articles on all aspects of trapping and fur handling. Saturday Larry Meyer lives in the Whitewater area and has trapped muskrats in all regions of Wisconsin and during the soft and hard water portions of the season. Larry works in the natural restoration of native species and also is works to address the invasive plant species invasions we have here in US and WI. Gury Groenwald is one of the owners of GFW and his family has been in the fur and wool business for many generations. Guy travels extensively to market and promote fur and fur usage. Guy will give us the current market updates but I have asked Guy to his considerable knowledge of the ranch fur business and how that industry is fairing and how it impacts positively and or negatively with our wild fur industry. Wayne Smith lives and traps in southwestern Wisconsin. Wayne will share his knowledge and his concerns regarding safety on the trap line be that equipment and also tipping canoes, boats or going through the ice and how you reach safety. Gerald Houtler lives near Pewaukee WI and has trapped for decades in SE WI. Gerald is an innovator when it comes to gadgets to save time, increase odds, or do things easier. He shares many of these ideas in his demos and he also demonstrates the “hockey pucks” that he was a leader in developing. Nick Beder lives in SE WI. Nick traps many species. Nick traps in WI and also traps in the south for several weeks each year to predator and beaver control in those areas. Nick runs many traps and catches large numbers of canines and cats. He also catches canines for the live market and Nick shares his knowledge on how he runs and manages these long lines for weeks on all kinds of weather. Chris and Jody Hamerla are a husband and wife couple for central Wisconsin. Chris works for Golden Sands RC and D as an invasive species specialist. Jody and Chris have been trapping since 2013 and we have asked them to share with the attendees how they are evolving and or changing their methods, gear, lines etc. We hope this will be a good demo for those who partner trap and those who have been trapping only f few years and how to keep motivated etc. Skye Goode lives in West Central WI. Skye owns Barefoot Furs and is also fully employed in human resource management services. Skye will do her demo on skunks and how to capture markets for skunk products. Skye is also working with the trapper education program in getting things up and running on face book for face book users. Dan Carroll lives near Mauston WI and has been a trapper for many decades. Dan has trapped rats on the rivers in his area and since the cable restraints have become legal he has utilized this tool and will discuss the evolution he has made in how he uses this tool to catch coyotes. Dan has demonstrated muskrat skinning and fleshing at countless outdoor events over the years. Trapper Art, Art lives near Cornell WI. Trapper Art established a sizable trap supply business and is still actively involved in the supply business and lure and bait making business. Art has trapped for decades in WI and also in several other states. Art Traps all species but we are asking Art to share with the attendees new insights he has on how to make hay sets more productive.

The change to the demo slate will be the following. We had two cancellations due to family events. The 2 PM Friday demo will be a Muskrat demo and the presenter will be Bryce Larson
Bryce Could you kindly post the bio of Bryce Larson? I'm assuming that it's you, and you have so many interesting insights on the national and world economies and such that I'm curious what you profession is/was.

I am 71 and a retired Agriculture technical college instructor that taught farm business and production management for active farmers for 31 years and worked as an Ag Extension Agent for 5.5 years, retired in 2013. I have a Wildlife Management degree with a dairy science and ag econ minor from UW Madison. I started trapping at age 10 for pocket gophers and did that for 4 years. During HS I trapped 3 years on the farm I worked at for rats, and fox. With college, Viet Nam , marriage etc. I was out of trapping from 66-1980. When I moved to eastern WI in 1975 I started trapping in 1980 and have trapped annually since. Rats, coons, mink, fox, yotes in that order plus the not so infrequent opossum and skunk. I did start an agriculture financial consulting business which I ran for several years until I found out I had a defective heart issue and discontinued that business. My surgery for that issue went very sell so that issue is not weighing as heavy as it once was. Have worked with many financial institutions over time helping them to analysis financial statements of farm businesses so they can understand better why some work well and some do not. Lots of outdoor related hobbies.
