Not good idea when pay for things over ph with debit card, I just pay on ph, old bill an got refill of generic prescription I been on for years, usally have prescription mailed me,an was charged yesterday an today both, this guy couldn't figgure it out an crappy cheap drugstore in slums, an drive there got refund, the bank ssy 1 charge was preautorization, but she sound disgusted me on ph, probly a ripoff scam, an didn't think I catch it , once u give ur card no out, they can do whatever they want it

Translation:

It's not a good idea to purchase items over the phone with a debit card. I just paid a past due bill. I also just paid for a generic prescription, for medication I have been taking for years, which I receive through the mail. The pharmacy accidentally double charged my card. When I contacted the pharmacy, the pharmacy worker was unable to resolve the double charge over the phone. I had to drive to the pharmacy, which is in a depressed area, to get the money I was double charged back.

I also contacted my bank about the double charge. The teller I talked to told me that what I saw on my electronic statement was actually a preauthorization rather than a double charge. The teller was frustrated with me. I believe she was working with the pharmacy to steal my money.

After you give people your debit card number, they can use it to steal from you.

In order for this "scam" to work, the same teller at the bank would have to be taking every complaint. The person at the drug store would have to be splitting the profits, and not having management discover it. So for 20 years in prison, both of these people would be risking everything for a small pay out.

What it was, was another well educated person in America, working a crap job, not caring, and made a mistake. The teller was upset as it was a pending charge, which numbers of charges are until cleared. The teller was displeased, because you were the tenth person they had to explain this to, as they have a crap job and get yelled at daily.

As a recommendation. numbers of bank, credit and debit cards have limit ratings, and alerts when the cards are in use. As you are online, your bank probably has an online account that you can log into to monitor your transactions. Mine has been set up, so that anytime my card is used over a certain amount, I get an email or text telling me. Anything ever happens I am on it within minutes. I have only had one instance where an ammo store in California had an employee sell my card, and it started buying smart phones, which I had my card shut down immediately.

Not everything is a scam and people are not going to risk prison over double charges. People in this country are just overworked, being replaced, treated poorly and they simply do not care. They get yelled at all the time and it is easier to collect unemployment than to be in a nowhere job.

Yes I stand up for my rights, but at the same time when the car dealer broke my oil drain plug and almost blew my engine up, I let it play out. They fixed it for nothing, and I returned with a box of donuts thanking them for being helpful. The dealer would have fired these people if he had found out. Now when I go into that shop, they smile at me, and I get the best service around.
Upset people and they tell everyone what a horrid person you are. Perform the same psychology on people that you do in trapping, and they will look out for you as you are the one person not busting their chops in this world.
