Sad news. The Wife has a lot of cats running around I have a few that pal around with me when I'm out in the yard or garage even put up 2 in the fur shed last winter one runt and a old Mama cat that was busted up in a fight. If I get one I like and name something happens to it never fails!

Very sorry to hear. My wife and I have 4 house cats, between 8-16 years old. They all do their own thing, sometimes annoying, but always predictable.

I never could warm up to a dog. Always been a cat person.

I had to go back and reread when you said you put up two in the fur shed.

The best cats I have had are ones that just showed up one day. I’ve had one for 16 years that I snatched up out the driver’s side door of my truck In the middle of a busy highway. It was a kitten no bigger than my hand.

I just reread my post, and it wasn't exactly full of "kind words", but I hope you understand that my sentiments were in the right place. Losing pets sucks. Even cats get me choked up.

Sorry to hear...I like having a cat around takes care of rodents plus they either want to hang around you or choose to hide out for a bit..can't have a dog right now can't give it the time like needed so a cat does fine..
My mouse cat looks similar to yours...is a rescue from town, basically she roamed the streets until an elderly lady brought her in...sure would miss this cat...

Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....
