Brazil and Argentina together grow slightly more soybeans than the US does, not Brazil alone but they may continue to grow rapidly. The Chinese are investing heavily in South America and Africa. Africa for markets as that is now the fast growing continent in the World and South America for commodities so they can worry less about US trade issues etc. Two wealthy Brazilians own enough commodity production in the USA to be on record to receive 64 million dollars of the Trump administration's 2018 bail out for soybeans for the most part. We tend to underestimate how wealthy other nations and people are becoming and where their funds are going. Brazil now owns a huge share of us beef processing, China owns Smithfield and are building the new Silicone Valley in their country even as they are buying much of our west coast. We spend a lot of time talking about 30 billion in tariffs while it is hundreds of billions and even trillions that are being shuffled and most are not aware of these activities.

Trump should nationalize all their business tentacles and toss them out on their arse.
The chinks own a lot of western Canada too.

Heard today that all the fires there are being started by farmers.

So I guess in a sense it is man made? They do this every year to control vegetation, pest, and to put nutrients back in ground

I'm referring to the absorption of CO2 into the ocean water, not the oceanic plant life. In order for plants to use the CO2, it must exist within their environment, i.e. ocean water.

I can't say whether there are more plants on the Earth than ocean water... but I've got a feeling there's much more water.

Yes and there has been lots of years with more fires in the Amazon than this year, but the global warming wizards are having a cow over that and the current hurricane. Because of warm water in the Atlantic. 5 warmest water readings in the last 150 years. Wait a minute, those five warmest years were all before 1950. There all nuts!! And they have a agenda.

Everything the left touches it destroys

bblwi is right. They are slash and burning more to grow soybeans to make up for lost US beans from the trade war.

And now the left is trying to create a climate hoax out of it.
