They need to pull a percentage of their Pittman/Robertson funding from the Fed payouts on taxed sporting goods! If they believe they can survive without the funding they get from the Sportsman of this Nation lets see how that works for them.

Connecticut is certainly trying - all the anti's are really banding together here - and thankfully, we recently got HB 6014 which would effectively ban trapping here tossed.
But the anti's will be back, and they are not just Lefties either out here.

My money is this was set by an anti - because everything about this incident is not cool, the trap is not even prepped or staked.

All these rich people - they have huge influence over political goings on here - and the last thing they want is something like this to occur.

CWRA offers rewards all the time - knowing that they will never have to pay them out.
*Believe me when I say that, as I have called them out more than once......

I for one am not happy that CA lost their right to trap.
Because this can set a trend, as I am pretty certain every anti in the U.S. got wind of this ruling in CA.

We have maybe 300 trappers or so here in CT, actually it might be closer to 400 now - although I am not sure how many are actually out there all trapping season long, as our current trapping laws make trapping pretty difficult unless you have access to private property/farm land.

CT- FAKE NEWS!!!! Brand new trap never waxed or dyed. Set up. Want to see broken jaw. Trap was a foothold not leg. Horrific??? I'm in favor of pulling PR funds for state banning trapping.

I know - that's why I'm thinking an anti set this up - because they are furious that HB 6014 did not go through....
