I attended a Baptism service this morning at the church I've been attending for about two years. I think it's pretty neat to see a somewhat different style than I was raised with. Although I was raised in a Baptist church, this one I attend now has some traditions that the people take pretty seriously; I like that.

That’s great. We had an outdoor service today which included 6 being baptized and then a fun afternoon for he youngsters playing games and smoked pork sandwich with time of fellowship

Always love to see people being baptized we had young ones as well as some older folks baptized

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Good news.

After I believed on the Lord Jesus for salvation, I was baptized in Cold Water Creek, Santa Rosa County, Florida. Had to watch out for gators.

Who????
Me????
laugh

I think it's great to see the church tradition being taken seriously. I think modern Christianity has in some ways made "conversion" or membership too easy. God's call of a believer into a covenant community should be taken seriously and the full gravity and import of such a decision fully emphasized and understood. We should make a big deal out of it because it is a big deal.

All minor differences aside, I think that is a wonderful picture and I am rejoicing with you.
