Someone told me parsnip works better for muskrats than carrots do. Thoughts on that?

parsnips stay white/bright longer than potatoes or apples for 1 thing.

I use both a slice of carrot and 1/4 parsnip on my rat stools with good results, so.... sadly, cannot tell you if 1 is better than the other.

Ask the produce guy/girl at your local grocer for rejects/defects and get them free!
