I haven't fished the river in a few years but always enjoyed putting in at the St. Louis river front. Looking at the pics I am guessing you did the same? If your not aware, and it is open, you can put in on the Mo. river and fish that section of river also. All the way up to the Alton Dam. BTW...watch out for the wing dams anywhere in the river. They are motor eatin devils........lol

This Saturday, is the Alton classic catfish tournament, so there will be 50 boats launching downtown. That should be quite the cluster!
