Guys and gals,

I’ve been tasked with researching what thermal gear would be most appropriate for locating people from 0-200 yards. No mounting is needed for weapons and they will be for law enforcement use. Basically, a person runs into the woods and I need to find him/her.

Cost effective
Durable
Somewhat small

Any advice?

John

I hunted pigs in Georgia years ago with a group of guys that were retired army that used all thermal. Jaegar Pro, they might be able to help you if ya contact them. Can’t remember what brand they were but there was no denying what animal I was looking at.

Pulsar is a good company, call them and they do a excellent job of walking you through the process and figure out what will work best for your needs.

The Pulsar Axion might be what you are looking for. It is a new monocular and fits in your pocket. I would contact Pulsar's law enforcement division. They give a decent discount for law enforcement and are excellent to deal with. If you have questions or need their contact info feel free to send me a PM.
