If getting SS you should be getting a raise next year and is better then getting nothing.

Because you're in Alaska, you could probably get a pizza, but I could probably get two of them down here.

1.6 is better than most saving account rates.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

How long has it been since the last increase? Has it been increased since the last raise in the minimum wage?
Few years 'till I can collect. It will be a nice little bump to my pension. Sure hope there are enough young folks paying in and the politicians keep their fingers off it so there some left.

Premiums for Medicare part B go up every year which is taken out of retirement social security checks. Therefore, the increase they tell us we are getting is slightly less. I believe this year $135.50 will be deducted every month if income is less than $85,000.

Gotta start making more babies. Our total fertility rate in America is barely at replacement rate, which is 2.1 births per woman. And it's only there because of immigrants. Without immigrants, our birthrate is somewhere around 1.8 births per woman. I'm doing my part with 5 kids grin
