The tube and trigger I believe was called the black hole. That much is a purchased add on to make a 1 1/2 coil into a dogproof. Can't recall year, but it has been quite a while sense I seen any new ones for sale. Will have to look, used to have a few still in a drawer out in the fur shed. I may have gotten rid of them in one of my cleaning sprees, not something I cared much for just an oddity. spot on

Oh yes, bill Rudy made those here in nebraska if I recall correctly. The black hole. Converted a 1.5 coil to a dog proof. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

They work really good with a little work on the dog. I filed the top side of dog at an angle, to where the trigger had almost no movement before it broke over. The angle filed needs to be almost as deep as trigger notch on the black hole. If you go to far it won't stay set, then take swipe of end of dog until it does stay set. Once I figured out how to get the trigger pull down, catches went up. I like to turn small coon loose and definetly think they are much better than dp's for that.
