I wasn't going to post this, but it's been all summer now plus the beginning of September...

Where are the gray squirrels?

I see some of the red-colored little mean ones, and a Ton of chipmunks but very few grays.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Here and towards Blanchester, Ohio, the grey squirrels appear to be hanging out on wooded roads eating the insects that are hit and the walnuts that are precracked for them. The fox squirrels are too. If it was legal, you could just sit a chair in the middle of the road here and shoot a quick limit of squirrels on the road.

I think there are about a thousand gray squirrels within a block of me right now. They are like lice here!

I see lots of road kills.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

You guys that harvest a fair number of squirrels ever send your tails to Mepps for cash or lures? I got a tour of their facility in northern Wisconsin last week and it was pretty cool. They have a cash price they pay for tails, and will double that value towards the purchase of Mepps lures, plus they reimburse your shipping costs if you send 50+ tails.
