Wheel bugs aren't poisonous. I've heard the bite/sting is excruciating, but not poisonous.

Found this info on wheel bugs. It says the bite is more painful than that of a wasp or hornet, and that it can take 2 weeks to heal, but that most infections are a secondary issue, not caused by the initial bite . wheel bugs

They also spread disease, specifically Chagas disease. Chagas is rampant in central America and mexico, and many people from there are infected. It is becoming a problem in the USA with the mass migration of people from central America to the USA,particularly in urban areas.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

This is a Wheel Bug not a "Triatomine bug" that can carry the parasite of "Chagas disease" These bugs have something in common with divoriced wives............Once bite...twice shy

Just KILL it … what it might be and what it is … is unimportant, if it might be poisonous.
