Ridiculous. It is not a private school, it is a public school which means it depends on government monies and taxpayer monies. First amendment therefore applies.

Wisconsin Carry a local gun advocacy group assisted a family in the Markesan WI school district who's son wore a shirt that said Love but was spelled out in guns to school and was told he could not wear the shirt , may have been suspended for wearing the shirt last year.

The Wisconsin state supreme court ruled that shirts with images of guns in a non threatening way were in fact free speech and the school could not prohibit said free speech.

a young man this lasw week was told in a southeastern WI school district that he had to cover his shirt that had an image of an AR-15 rifle that said "I plead the 2nd" his father was called , his father told them of the court ruling and that it was WI case law now and withing the hour the school called him back their lawyer for the district had also quoted the Markesan case and his son was told he could uncover the shirt and wear it.

anti groups, anti gun, anti trapping, anti hunting , work constantly to restrict free speech they control much of the media and while they scream censorship they work constantly to censor others whom they disagree with.
