k9man, it was straight forward not sure how he was able to do such a terrible job. I did the laminate wood (now in living room pic) for the 1st time 5 years ago. Never touched it before and it was simple to do other than tricky corners and crocked walls. I've never done carpet but there is no excuse for not stapling the carpet especially at the doors. He even reused the old nail strips.

Thanks Bob.

Absolutely strike2x. If you were closer I would give the lawyer your contact info for a quote.

Crappy work indeed, but why are you not in control of the contractors? Is it a forced sale by the courts? If you own the house it should be your call.

Pete

Swift, long story as to why I have no say (I'll make an "update" post another time) . Yes it is. I agree 100%. For those thinking it, No it's not a foreclosure.

Today was a bust, stayed at the house 45 minutes after the appointment time waiting for the lawyer to show up. He finally emailed me saying he has to reschedule for tomorrow morning and still wants to list the house within the next few days mad I responded in the nicest (this word is unacceptable on trapperman) email anyone could write.

It does Bob. He knows I'm easy going and have our best interests in mind. I reminded him again I didn't spend money to negatively affect our bottom lines. I'm sure he has many other properties on his plate he has to get rid of, so taking a smaller cut of 1 home isn't going to affect him too much

Met with the special master today, he agreed the errors need to be fixed but the house is about 98% ready to list and that I did an amazing job with all improvements.

I told him that the living room was to be done as stated in the emails between him and I, he told me, he and the realtor told the contractor to do the halls and the 2 bedrooms. So now I wait for him to get the flooring issues done. He still wants to list the house real soon even with the flooring issues. mad

I am still waiting for the contractors license number. I don't want to report him to state without it since he has a common name here.

I guess I'm reporting the contractor and the realtor. The lawyer says he's been asking for the contractors license# and has not got it yet. The realtor did not fix the flooring and listed the house on the market as is mad with a crazy low price.

With all that's going on, I need to be taken out either by my buddy's (usually it's range time or mountain time) or a sniper lol
