I have some real old an some not so old coon boards an boards, for almost every other pelt. My big dehumdifer quit running this last summer an not work right, cause circuit breaker on line it plug into to trip, so done with dehumdifer, just like bunch other things around home, I have a lil white mold in some but not all boards in spots , as well as flesh beam, my question is. Would just wipe with rag be good enough ? Not want make this into big deal with anytime at all spent on it, it comes off with a rub of finger, I thinking that good enough before put coon pelt on board? Just looking for knowledgable answear please, it is difficult to do this on Android phone an can't make paragraphs. In other post, I had some other. That always taunts an make fun me from Iowa here, tell me not to post on here or Iowa trap talk , like I am retarded, I like know who that person is an how know me

I am currently typing this from my Android phone. I don't have any knowledge of mold on boards personally, but I would think vinegar, bleach (obviously clean the bleach off with water when you're done) or something like that might work. Others on here will certainly know more than me though. Mostly I just wanted to show you just how easy composing normal sentences can be from an Android phone. Have a great day, Coonman.

After you get rid of the the mold I'd sand the boards down then apply a bit of turtle wax car polish to the boards to help seal them including the fleshing beam

Wipe down with Hydrogen peroxide to KILL the mold.

Yes I well try either wd40 or proxide, whatever best with greasy board. Is it really a big deal if mold not kill, what could do to fur in pelts like coon? Nothing at all ?

Wet n forget or peroxide. Bleach will only kill surface mold. In wood that doesn't help.

Coon skins get mold on them from time to time if they are still not dry or stuffed in a fur bag in the corner of the shop. I have that mold on my boards almost yearly. I wipe them down and stretch a coon on it. Idle minds are dangerous. Keep busy. LLL

You can probably hit the enter key to make a new paragraph Coonman.

I hit it twice, and made a nice little extra space between my sentences.

On my Android tablet, it is the orange arrow in the pic below. Unless it automatically posts your comment, but I don't think that is the case.

Hope this helps.

Yes on the wd40 and a rag Dave. As far as the haters on the IA site, best thing ever was when I could not go there. All the people worth talking to have my number and I have theirs. LLL
